Managing Director

A market-leading fast sale specialist and property cash buying company with over 7,300 reviews and 24 gold awards for customer service – is seeking an exceptional person for the role of Managing Director.

As Managing Director, you will lead and develop the senior leadership team, drive the company’s performance, and ensure accountability, with full responsibility for profit and loss.

Key responsibilities:
· Oversee the day-to-day management of the company of circa. 75 people
· Full financial responsibility for growth and profitability, business planning and setting financial budgets
· Executing and monitoring the performance of comprehensive business plans, ensuring alignment with short-term and long-term objectives
· Improve customer service by increasing the use of recommended and known mortgage brokers and solicitors.
· Ownership of business plans, including sales forecasts, the creation of cash flow forecasts and annual budgets
· Preparation of monthly and year-to-date performance reports to the Board, including commentary, analysis and recommendations
· Implement and instil the company’s values, mission statement, are controlled and all revenue opportunities are maximised to their full potential.
· Mentor and manage the management team.
· Liaise with sales trainers to ensure adequate training and ongoing coaching is in place and available as required

Key skills and experience:
· Proven experience at a senior leadership level in estate agency as Director, with exceptional people           leadership skills and adaptability
· Strong commercial acumen
· Ability to independently identify risks and opportunities for the organisation.
· Proven track record of managing teams to reach their optimum potential.
· Experience of running multiple estate agent branches
