Our client is the go-to London caterer for events and contract catering in London. Our experienced team of Event Planners work with some of London’s most prestigious venues and event clients and caters for top global brands. They hold a number of long standing corporate catering contracts with offices in London.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage operational excellence, ensuring infrastructure is in place to enable quality-driven client and team relationships. This will include identifying areas of continuous improvement and embedding tech- based workflow and resource management tools to ensure we have accurate business information to inform decisions.

• Ownership of planning process of all operational functions, working closely with Managing Director and leadership team to ensure smooth communication and barriers to success are removed.

• Setting consistent standards on how all operations work through training and follow up. This will involve reviewing and implementation of SOP’s, new staff onboarding is seamless, and quality control of freelance team members.

• To hold monthly meetings with HODs (Events/Logistics/Kitchen/Contract Catering) in order to support and ensure that all internal procedures are followed

• Ensure that all weekly, monthly and year end procedures are carried out to provide timely and accurate information. • Cost consciousness at all times- implement cost effective and smart techniques and solutions to lower costs and create lean processes

• To optimise operational profitability from all events and venues

• To provide timely reporting for all operations

• To manage Direct Reports to ensure staff resources are used efficiently and in line with set financial parameters and to identify and implement changes in customer service and product offers to maximise revenue

Who you will be

• Experienced Operations Director with specifical experience in managing and owning operational tasks across a number of business units

• Specifically experienced in acting in this role for an Events or Catering company

• High-Level internal and external stakeholder management experience

• Highly experienced in managing cross-functional teams within a small to medium business

• Experience in owning and managing budget, driving revenue growth and optimising commercial success
